 The Fitz cM is designed to provide size reduction with integrated classifier to insure the desired product is delivered to the equipment outlet. The operating principles balance centrifugal force and drag force to generate a high precision method of classifying particles according to size and density.
The Fitzpatrick Classifier Mills, FCM series, are air classifier mills with mill blocks or pins. Unlike our traditional mills the FCM’s require air system's with a vacuum blower to pull air through the system. The product is collected in cyclone & filter collector units. Ductwork/pipes are required to connect the components.
Especially designed for food product applications, for lactose & casein, for powdered sugar, for starches, for all kinds of crops, for herbal remedies, for pigments & food colorings, but also for demanding applications in minerals, fine & specialty chemicals, such as process additives or industrial pigments, powder coatings etc.
