   Application
Use weigh belt feeders for gravimetric feeding at higher feed rates or where low headroom is a problem. Especially at high feed rates, a weigh belt feeder offers lower initial cost than a loss-in-weight feeder with equal throughput.

  Other Options

Hazardous Areas: K-Tron provides equipment that can meet area classifications according to American or European standards.

  Control Options

All K-Tron weigh belt feeders come with the SCM (Smart Control Module), which may be field mounted on the feeder or placed in a remote panel. Connection to a PLC is available directly from the SCM or from a K-Tron multi-feeder operator interface. Operator interface options include:
  KSU single feeder control.
KSL single line control (up to 8 feeders).
KSC multi-line control (up to 30 feeders and up to 8 lines).
